People who are afraid tend to avoid frightening situations. When something “scary” is avoided, there’s a momentary or temporary, feeling of relief. However, the next time something similar arises, it appears even more terrible. This initiates a self-defeating pattern and out of control.

Sometimes being anxious is alright, but having too much of anxiety all the time can interfere with the daily functioning and make it difficult to carry out responsibilities at home, school, work or even relationships. How to Build a Healthy Relationship

It takes ongoing attention and communication to keep a relationship healthy, and research has shown that some characteristics are particularly important for building happy, fulfilling and faithful relationship. First and foremost, each person should have faith in their partner’s willingness to invest time and energy in the other. Additionally, they must both be dedicated to putting up with each other’s differences as they evolve.

Good relationships in the twenty-first century are characterized by emotional and physical equality, especially when it comes to the division of responsibilities. Strong relationships also include honest conversations about each other’s likes and dislikes, and at the same time respecting them, open communication about affection, and a sense of gratitude for one another.

A sense of unity is fostered in healthy relationships when partners attempt to give each other the benefit of the doubt, but only to an extent as it may have a negative outcome also. If this emotion is sustained over time, it can assist couples in overcoming the obstacles they will unavoidably encounter together as lot of couples have a sense of insecurity regarding each other which hampers the pure essence of relationship.

Why Relationships Fail?

Every relationship is a leap of faith for one or both partners, and even the happiest couples might eventually grow apart due to the very characteristics that first drew them together. Nowadays, it has become very common for people to walk out of a relationship just because they were experiencing boredom. It takes effort to develop the abilities to build a lasting connection, and dangers can appear out of nowhere. Both partners may not envision a genuinely bright long-term future together in short-term, casual relationships, but frequently only one takes action—in some circumstances, ghosting the other by leaving their lives without saying anything, not even a text.

After years of marriage, some people can leave and feel relieved right away. Others may have years-long emotional damage following the breakup of a brief dating engagement. Whatever the circumstances surrounding a breakup, it can be a significant source of stress and have a lasting impact on one’s ego and self-worth.

A person may be shy for a variety of reasons. Some of the reasons are

  • Self-conscious
  • Timid

  • Low self – worth

In order to understand level of shyness and reason behind it, one should ask these important questions to themselves. Like Do you have the right to speak and that your thoughts are valid? Do you have the ability to stand up and be heard when you want to? Is it awkward, frightening and overwhelming to meet new people?

Shy persons may demonstrate negative physical responses when attending a social gathering or speaking in public

Some symptoms of shyness are:-

  • Blushing
  • Feeling speechless
  • Sweaty hands
  • Feeling shaky
  • Inability to take a breath
  • Avoiding eye contact

In order to remove or decrease the degree of shyness one needs to know the exact reason behind it and then implementing an appropriate intervention
